Homemade Baked, Glazed Donuts

Hurray, donuts!

I recently ordered a donut pan. My 8 yr old daughter is guest cooking here about donuts she recently made. Easy and yum!

Prep with nonstick spray
The dry team: Clockwise from top: 3/4 c sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp salt.
The wet team: 3/4 c milk, 2 beaten eggs, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1tbsp melted butter. combine wet and dry until well mixed.
Transfer batter into a piping bag or plastic baggie with a snipped corner. Pipe into prepped pan. Ideally fill 1/2 full but we went over. Not sorry! Bake at 325 10-12 mins.
Make glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar and 1/8 cup milk. Stir.
My daughter used food coloring to make the glaze “more fun.”
She dipped the cooled donuts in the glaze and loved the finished donuts.
Mmmm
